Roo AI (“we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy. When you use our application, third-party AI processing happens. Nothing is sent until you tap “Allow sharing”. This sharing can include profile and tracker data when Roo personalizes AI, not only chat/voice.
Who Receives It
Roo uses third-party AI infrastructure providers to generate assistant responses. The providers who may receive this data are:

- Google Cloud Vertex AI (Gemini)
- Anthropic
- OpenAI (with an explicit Realtime / microphone audio explanation)

Profile information (may be shared for personalization)
- Name
- Gestational week
- Date of birth
- Baby birth date or due date
- Height
- Weight
- Medical conditions from the profile
Tracker and wellness data (may be shared for personalization)
- Emotional state / mood
- Nausea tracker
- Prenatal vitamin tracker
- Sleep tracking
- Breastfeeding timing or duration
- Any other trackers when those logs are sent for the same personalization / answering purpose
Why / How
We operate under a purpose-limited use model. Your data is used solely to provide AI functionality, safety, and reliability features. Roo configures these managed AI deployments with no-training settings for Roo traffic, ensuring your user content is not retained by third-party model providers to train their models.
